Dr. Gary Brush, a native of the Southern Illinois area, grew up in Marion, IL; and graduated from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physiology from the College of Science. He went on to attend Indiana University, earning his Doctor of Optometry Degree. Following his graduation, he completed his internship at the VA Hospitals in Canton and Cleveland, Ohio. Based in Metropolis, IL, Dr. Brush is licensed to practice in Illinois and Kentucky, serving patients from all over the bi-state area.
Since 1995, Dr. Brush has been serving customers in Southern Illinois and Western Kentucky, after opening his practice in Metropolis, IL. He and our entire staff of eye specialists are dedicated professionals that take great pride in meeting the vision care needs of the local communities. Additionally, we offer patients of all ages comprehensive eye exams, eyeglass fittings, contact lenses, and even treatment of eye diseases and conditions including LASIK pre and post-op surgical care. Additionally, Dr. Brush does more than the required continuing education to ensure his customers always have access to the latest techniques and treatments.
In his free time, Dr. Brush enjoys the beautiful outdoors that Southern Illinois has to offer, taking part in farming, hunting, fishing, and other outdoor activities. He and his wife, Linda, are active members of the community and attend Stonefort General Baptist Church in Stonefort, Illinois.
Leah manages our front desk with friendly professional service. She can assist you with scheduling appointments, payments, and insurance questions. She also helps in our on-site optical lab.
Crystal manages our billing department. Please contact her for all your insurance needs or questions about your billing.
Linda is our specialist in making our customers feel welcome. Whether you walk into our office or call on the phone, Linda is there to answer questions, direct calls, schedule appointments, and help find the right fit for glasses and more.
Ashley M. helps manage our full service on-site optical lab. She provides friendly service to make sure your glasses are produced quickly and accurately to deliver a premium optical product.
Natalie provides professional pre-testing services to our patients and also assists in our optical lab in eyeglass production. She can answer all of your pre-test needs and questions.
